ODDS AND ENDS

Getting ready for the Tea Party Wednesday.  Unpacked my hatboxes and washed a ton (not quite) of cups, saucers, teapots, sugar and creamers and plates.

Molly in her Christmas sweater.

"Carols and Cookies" at church.  At the end of the evening, the music director ask all of us that could to come on the stage for a final carol.  Can you find me?  ~ I think I'm on the left side of the lady in the red sweater.  Anyway it was a fun time and so many wonderful carols, and homemade cookies.

It's beginning to feel like Christmas.

  5. Carols and Cookies! What a wonderful idea! We have Pie and Praise at Thanksgiving at my church. Same idea. At Christmas we have a Christmas Café where we bring desserts and eat while listening to some great music. Hope you have a great time at your tea.

  6. Love all your beautiful china for the tea.
The sweet little birds on your banner are so adorable.
After all the hub-bub of Disneyland "Christmas", I'm really ready for The Reason for the Season. I think I need a real battery charger this year.

  8. That's what I miss about my small town home, the carols, the church cantadas and children's programs. I'm getting sentimental.

  9. Lots of tea accoutrements! They will have such a good time. Molly looks cute and festive - love that little face. I see you carolling! I've been listening to carols from King's College Cambridge on YouTube. Beautiful.
