CREATIVE TUESDAY

The theme for Creative Tuesday is "Old World Christmas".  I decided to draw a 1920's gal out doing some Christmas shopping.  Looks like she bought a "charlie brown" tree.

Thanks Michael for a fun theme stretching our imaginations.

To see all the "Old World Christmas" from the participants of Creative Tuesday, just click on the badge on my sidebar.

I want her fur coat and boots....

(Done with pen and ink, and colored with prismacolor pencils.)

  11. Christine,
This is lovely. And I love the warm fur coat too. I wonder is she wearing a dress and are those leggings? I'm heading back to the cold and wearing a dress to advocate against human trafficking - so I will be wearing heavy stockings and pants under my dresses. Not sure what I will put on my feet?? Snowmobile boots?

  15. What a great time period to focus on for this. Even w/o the decades written I could ahve guessed it was the 20's or so jsut from the cloche hat and it has that sort of feel too. Lovely take! thank you Wanda. Great job. But, hey that is not a Charlie Brown tree--far to big. :)
