SUNDAY SKETCHES WITH ALEXANDRA

For Sunday Sketches this week I did some more sketching on the balcony in my prayer journal with my Prismacolor pencils.   I love Spider Plants and this one has many babies...,

    1. The corner of the balcony is such a perfect spot for my spider plant...right amount of sun and shade. A perfect place to have more babies.

    1. I so enjoy the balcony. It truly is a perfect place to sit and sketch in the shade, and listening to a bird or two sing a melody.

  10. I remember when I was little we used to have spider plants, I haven't seen one for a while though! Your sketch is lovely, as is your balcony!

    1. When a nephew was moving several years ago, he had to find homes for his plants...He knew I loved them so I got several plants, and the spider plant was one of them. It has done so well on the balcony.

    1. We love our little apartment, but my favorite spot is the balcony. we have our plants, two chairs and a little table...perfect for sitting, drinking coffee, and reading and sketching.

  19. Beautiful job with the Prismas. I love colored pencils myself. Have you tried Polychromos? A little pricey but smooth and vibrant. Love them too! Have a wonderful week!

    1. Using pencils is new to me... Always have been a watercolor person. I trying to stretch my envelope. Thanks for the tip on Polychromos...Has not heard of them.

    1. Thanks. Yes, they are pretty sturdy. I've had mine for years, and potted many of it's babies to give away.
