CREATIVE TUESDAY ~ LITTLE CRITTERS

The theme for Creative Tuesday is "Little Critters".  I took a trip down to the pond to see if I could find any.

To my surprise I found a couple.  A frog trying to catch lunch with a net and a Caterpillar reading a book holding a pink daisy umbrella.  I think that little lady bug was wondering what was going on!   You never know what you'll find at the pond or in the woods on Creative Tuesday.

To see what all the other artists found, just click on the CT Badge on my sidebar.

  1. Oh yes, this is EXACTLY why we must always look down, not just up! :) I love this, Wanda -- just can't decide which one if my favourite.I think the caterpillar could be you, expect you;d hold out cookies and offer shades to all the adorable little kiddos in your neighbourhood, being the good auntie saint you indeed are. :) Thank you for doing this. So fun.

    1. I had a blast doing this. It was a hard decision whether to have the caterpillar reading a book or holding a basket of cookies...Thinking "book worm" went with the book,,HaHa

  2. Ah, so you DID actually consider cookies? hahaha, so love that. Wonderful.

    1. This was a really fun theme to explore. This is a re-creation of a frog I did a long time ago, and added the other critters...a fun piece, for sure.

  7. As a little girl I was fascinated by books with pictures of anything miniature. Tine people living in boxes or under broken flower pots, mice in tiny matchbox beds, ... Your picture reminds me of the whimsical.

    1. I still like "little" things too. I remember most of my children's books had that theme.

      This was a fun project.

Such a great picture - looks like fun and I want to join in. Reading a book under the shade of a flower - what a terrific idea.
