BIRTHDAYS AND SHARKS

Two of our grandchildren celebrated birthdays this week.  Nick (16) and Monique (27)  I shared her wedding pictures this time last year.  The cakes were wonderful and it was a great fun Birthday Pool Party.

Yes, we were swimming with Sharks.  Doesn't it look real.  It was plastic of course, but when I took the picture, it really did look real.

Loving our family time since we have moved closer to the kids.  This was a super good day.

    1. That fruit topped cake was to die for. They were both good so I had a little piece of each.

    1. It was so much fun...wish I could post all my pictures, but respect the family members who are not blog friendly. We had a pool full...lots of cousins, aunts and uncles too. Fun, Fun.

  6. Being close to family is important! I could stay here in the camper on the ranch for a LONG time - but family is at home waiting for us to get back.
I so enjoy seeing YOU enjoying YOUR family!!!

    1. I know you love that ranch, but the quads are saying where are you MeMaw and Grandpa.... You have the best of both worlds. Talked to our daughter in Oregon this morning and she is wanting us to come up there again.. I want too.

  7. It does look real. Back in the days before I spoke Spanish we were on vacation in Mexico and we went swimming with sea turtles and we were asked if we'd like to swim with a tiburon, not knowing what this was, we said yes, when we saw the shark we said NO!
