A BRAND NEW WEEK

My kitchen dishcloths were looking pretty ragged and faded from all the washing.  I had a coupon for yarn at Michael's (40% off) so picked up several little Sugar and Cream yarns and now I have some new colorful dishcloths.

I went with fall colors since it's just around the corner and I will be putting some Fall colors in the kitchen.  I'm no knitter by any means, but this simple pattern I can do.

    1. I learned from a YouTube "Learning to knit a simple dish cloth" Only a knit stitch, no pearling. Check it out. If I can do it....You can do it.

    1. I just love these dishcloths. Before I learned to make them, I had several given to me. I usually buy yard for each season, and make some for gifts.

    1. Betsy, I don't know my seasons very well living in CA. Doesn't fall come in August???? HaHa. Just planning ahead.

Actually they are knitted. I failed at crocheting...Elizabeth tried to teach me...but my fingers would not cooperate with a crochet hook.

    2. I always think of Fall starting in August. It was that way in England but truth be told, in CO it is more like the end of September, temp wise. Still very hot in August. Not one of my fave months, as such. lol.

  10. Yes, isn;t it bonkers that Fall is indeed just around the corner? I was thinking about this whilst drinving home form work this afternoon, about how August is coming up already! August can be the start of some seeing autumnal colours, no less. Wow wow wow. And let me tell you.... I couldn't be more thrilled! Summer is my LEAST favourite season. too too hot.
