TUESDAY TIDBITS

Oh dear ~~ the Cookie Ministry had to make another change.  You cannot see the little sign on my door knob from the  bottom level.  So kids were coming up and down the stairs looking to see if the sign was out.   OK put on your thinking cap....Yes, lets make a little banner to hang over the side of the ledge on Cookie Day!

Banner is out, and Me and Molly are ready for the kids!

Well to my surprise I saw two little girls driving a spiffy pink car around the playground.  You never know what you'll find here.  HaHa.  Ducks in the swimming pool, and little girls driving a Barbie Car.

Just saved $25 and gave me self a pedicure.  What did I do with those savings...Used some of it for a new pair of flip flops.

Remember that cute valance I bought for the kitchen window.  Well what do you know.... I found a blouse with the same pretty cut outs.  Now I match my curtain when I'm in the kitchen...HaHaHa.

HOPE YOU'RE HAVING A GOOD TUESDAY!

    1. Waving back....The Banner worked really nice ~ put it out after lunch and took it down at 4. They saw it after school and enjoyed a cookie or too.

I need to give myself a fresh pedi, too! And your flip flops with bling are too cute! Love them.

The banner is a great idea...I bet word spreads fast when they see it's out and waving! What a fun little thing you're doing. Those kids will remember it forever!

    1. Another use for cloth napkins. Stapled the sign on and hug a weight on the back side so it would fall off.
I love and miss you too, Martha.

  8. You are just SO sweet to bake cookies for the neighborhood kids! I think the red cookie banner will be a good idea. I give myself my own pedicures too. I prefer not to have strangers touching my feet! LOL! You look so pretty in your picture! I love your new blouse too.

    1. Since they know it's just once a week, I'm not going broke buying sugar and flour...actually the eggs and butter are more expensive. HaHa.
Thanks for your sweet words. I really like the blouse too.

  10. LOL, I thought you were going to say you made a blouse out of the valance. Do kids like oatmeal raisin? I'd like a dozen please? :-)

    1. Beggars can't be choosers. They get what I bake, and I've had no complaints. However...I do put chocolate chips in the oatmeal cookies. What's your address...for a small fee I'll send you a box... HaHa.

  11. Ha-ha! You're a hoot! I've never been a manicure/pedicure kinda person. Freaks some of my friends out. But my hands are always immersed in something so why pay for a manicure that will chip within a day. And my feet are better kept under cover. Ha! Lucky kiddos getting cookies. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy

I don't do anything with my fingernails... They are to busy and get too dirty... However, I do like having pretty toes.
