THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Berry Cobbler

Fresh brewed ice tea
A full cookie jar

A shady balcony

A new supply of my watercolor note cards.

Our daughter, Michel gave me a new Tote Bag with wheels to bring groceries upstairs.

My new "Belle" mug from Disney's Beauty and the Beast.  A gift from a dear friend.

A good supply of Sugar and Flour.  More cookies!!

It was fun today to walk around and be thankful for a few of my favorite things.  Sometimes the it's the small things, isn't it.  Count your blessings, name them one by one.......

  1. I love these, Wanda - what a sweet collection. Each vignette tells a little story. What pretty note cards you have - do you sell them? Either that's a small cookie jar or those are massive cookies! I think that cobbler is calling my name... "Suzie... Suzie... Suzie..." Hear it?

    1. For the record, Suza....it's a small cookie jar. That's mine and Don's. I keep the cookies for the kids in plastic zip lock bags, some ready to give out, some in the freezer for later. Not everyone makes pie crust for cobbler, but that's my favorite way. Yes, I hear it in the distance..."Suzie"

    2. BTW ~ I have sold my cards. Usually I just use them...but when I do they are $2 each.

  2. Oh, Wanda...your notecards are so pretty! You are very talented. We ate at a new Mex. restaurant and they had the best ice tea! That is a real treat for us! Love your cobbler and those cookies. The tote for groceries is such a thoughtful gift. The mug will be a sweet reminder of friendship. God bless your evening.

    1. I have used the tote for groceries, and also to bring up folded laundry from the Laundry Room down stairs. Going to Church tonight, a good Bible Study in the middle of the week does me good.

    1. I got that card box like 15 years ago at Costco filled with note cards. I really loved the box and when those cards were used up....i kept it for my own. It really does keep them organized. I've been out of cards for a while, and Hanna just printed me up a batch.

And Yes!! Today was cooking day. Oatmeal. I had a few looks, like where's the chips...HaHa. Beggars can't be choosy....HaHaHa (I was out of chocolate chips)

    1. Thanks Linda. I've been out of cards for quite a while, so my friend that prints them at FedX sent me a new supply.

  5. Absolutely it IS the small things that make life so enjoyable!!
As I write, I am sitting at the camper table waiting for the quads to be deep asleep before getting into bed in our newly repaired camper bedroom. A glass of tea and a good book will be just the thing - a few sips and a couple of pages and I will be ready to SLEEP myself. I am one tired MeeMaw!!
That cobbler looks delicious!! I made Peach cobbler for dinner tonight!
