THE COLOR GREEN

The color on the balcony is "GREEN."  We had a good rain last night, and this morning, all the plants are smiling green.  Creeping Charlie was very happy.

My Spider plant is sporting a few new babies.

I took a clip from Charlie and now I have a new one in the old tea kettle.

All those lovely white blooms are gone, and our treehouse is sporting a new crop of green leaves.  They wet leaves were shinning in the sunshine this morning.

  1. Love all this green and the drops of water sparkling in the sun. We are covered in ice here. The kids didn't go to school, but it sure would be nice if there were snow for them to play in during the cold weather.

This morning we were awaken by the phone telling us it was so great that we paid our credit cards on time and they could give us a lower interest rate...the call totally interrupted a perfectly good dream....I really don't like that kind of alarm clock....(:0)

    1. We actually got a really GOOD rain this time. Last time a sprinkle or two and it was gone.

I hate those kinds of wake up calls. Bummer.

  3. My poor plants are just filled with dust and look so pitiful. Today was the first clear day but no time for cleaning the balconies just now as we are about to have a long weekend and will be traveling. Have a good week. Tammy

    1. Oh Betsy, I wish I could send you one of the spider babies. I think my balcony is a perfect spot for it. It's done better here than anywhere I've had one.

    1. Creeping Charlie and Spider plants seem to be perfect for the balcony. Pretty and green, but not to big. I saw the "Closed" sign on the news. Hope you and Louis Dean are warm and well.

  12. Green always makes me smile, when we lived in So. California near the desert everything but the orange groves were a depressing brown.
One of the reasons we moved back here was to see more green.

    2. Yes, I did. But they we tilled under long ago.
The funny thing is the little girls acted like they didn't notice or care and then one day, totally out of the blue, Emma said she liked the flowers I used to have on my wall.

  15. We had a couple of good downpours but not much else. LA usually gets more than us. We should get some more this weekend and, Oh my, we need it. Things are growing, as I say on my blog but we are struggling to keep some things alive. Lost a small palm tree I think
