A TOUR OF ITALY ~VALENTINE STYLE

Last Christmas we were given a gift card to the Olive Garden.  We hadn't used it and decided Valentines Day would be the perfect time.  We went early, and missed the dinner crowd.  Was seated immediately and served within minutes.

Don's choice was the "Scampi Chicken on Angle Hair Pasta and fresh Spinach.

I chose the "Tour of Italy" Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Lasagna Classico.

With coffee we shared a Tiramisu.  "Heavenly"

Why is my dearest laughing so hard....

Since the grandchildren always look for money in their cards, I put a five in Don's.  HaHa

My card had a very sweet message which I will keep to myself.  TeeHee.

 HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

  2. Awwww. So sweet. Love is grand. I like the money idea. I will do that next time I give my sweetheart a card. He will get a kick out of that because he tells me, "Grandma says to always put a dollar in the card." The food looks delicious.

  10. The meal looks great, I would have had to ask for a to-go container. The money gave me a good chuckle. My Mom still sends birthday cards with money and I'm 50! I try to tell her to stop or use it and drive down to visit. I guess I'll have to pay for them to drive down.

  15. So did you add along with the fiver, "to my very own sugar daddy?" Hahahhaha.

Aw, how sweet. I 'm sure his card to you was very endearing too.

What a lovely time to go to Olive Garden. Love that place.

Alex and I had a wonderful time. We went to our fave bake shop 3 times and ended up kept on buying very expensive quiche and coffees for some homeless individuals who went in there to stay warm.
