SPRING ???????

We didn't live at Villa Ramona last Spring so I was surprised to see these lovely white blooms coming out on the tree in front of our  balcony.

I don't know what kind of tree it is, but I think in a few weeks it will be covered with these little white flowers.  I may get some bees and humming birds to watch.  Hope my allergies don't kick up.  HaHa.

We are just hanging out today as my new KitchenAid I ordered on line should be delivered sometime this afternoon.  I love how you can track a UPS shipment.  It left Missouri three days ago, spent the night in Colorado and this morning was in California for delivery.  I decided I'd save the $18.99 shipping fee to get it here in one day...I've waited years to get a KitchenAid...what's a couple more days.  It was actually fun tracking it!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND.

    1. I hoping for a few humming birds too. We are not allowed to hang bird feeders on our balcony. But the tree is so close..we will have a good view, and perhaps some good photos.
Cant' wait for the doorbell to ring...UPS Calling.

  2. I love your 'Tree House!' You are going to have so much fun with that tree in all the seasons!
I am thinking your Kitchen Aid is a mixer? We have one. We are actually on our THIRD one!! since we got married! I already had one but Louis Dean is a heavy duty baker so he bought a BIGGER one and I gave my 'small' one to my daughter. That BIGGER one wasn't big ENOUGH apparently and it didn't hold up so he traded it in and bought the BIGGEST one available. Even THAT one was replaced - free of charge - and it has been twirling away just fine ever since!! They are great machines!

    1. Yes, a mixer. For my purposes, I got the 5.5 qt. with the lift bowl since my wrists aren't as strong as they used to be. It comes with the whip, paddle and the bread hook, and that is all I need. I got it in white as I change the colors in my kitchen with the seasons. My son who LOVES to bake and especially bread..has the biggest one. He loves it. Pizza dough, bread, cinnamon rolls...makes me think of Louis Dean and his wonderful looking cinnamon rolls. Well I'm hoping the doorbell rings real soon with UPS coming.

    1. He was darn cute, but he settled for a bag of cookies. I just took pictures of where it will sit in the kitchen. I'm loving it. Gonna read the booklet before I get started so I don't mess up the first time I use it.

  6. Can only dream of spring at this point. Pretty flowers. I have always wished for a KitchenAid mixer... even though I don't cook much. I just love the look of them. I have a beautiful red KitchenAid blender that I adore.
