CREATIVE TUESDAY ~ WORD

The theme for Creative Tuesday this time was pick a word that would best represent your word for 2015.  I chose STUDY and I have joined a ladies Bible study and there are lessons to do and that takes study.
I'm illustrating my word with a Mobile.  Study takes books, lots of coffee, the object of the study, the Bible, reading glasses, and most important, I'm hoping to learn new insights for daily living.

I have a wonderful place to do this studying.  The Tree House Balcony.  Please forgive the "bed hair".   HaHa.

To see all the Words the other participants have chosen for the theme, just click on the CT Badge on my side bar.   Do you have a word for 2015?

  3. This is perfect! You're so clever. I don't know that I have just one word for 2015 yet... but a big one for me is to try and live more in the moment and worry less about the past and future. So I guess maybe the words for me are "Be Present."

  8. Wanda,
It is wonderful to meet you. Bible studies can be inspiring and the people you meet can become life long sisters. I love your word study and what a beautiful place you have to study in. My morning routine is similar but I sit inside in a cozy chair, with an apple, some nuts and my tea. I am leading a Bible study called The Workbook of Living Prayer. I also developed the SIMPLE method of Bible study for those times when you want to go deeper on your own.
I think your mobile is a great idea. Great illustration.
    Blessings,
    Janis

  10. Study! I'm a person who always loved school, reading, making work, art, and studying (my Mom was a Teacher and my Dad a Professor), and I love how you drew it with different things to study hanging off the words. I'm taking a class this semester outside of my own art and teaching kids, so I will take this word you've drawn to heart :-D Great job!

  12. I do have a word, but I'm waiting till my friends and I do our rock painting, then I'll share. I was so glad to be back at my parish's Bible Study today. It was our first this year- frigid temperatures and icy streets kept us away till today- so happy for sunshine!
I'm envious of your bedhead. Mine is so much worse!

    1. Isn't our balcony to die for. I just love it. And most of the time the weather is mild in the winter in Southern CA so we can enjoy it year round. In fact that picture was taken a couple days ago.

  17. OK, I do have to chuckle here, Wanda, that you woudl choose "study" for this year as to me, it seems like most of your adult life has centred around study, or perhaps more so, the object of your study--the Bible. It is your centre and map for sure.. already. If you can find more to help you along that way, more power to you. Anyway, yes, all those things you added help--glasses in particular for me now too. LOL. Oh dear me. Wishing you a year full of ever new insights, come what may. Thank you so much for doing this, all said and told. Oh, and btw, what do you mean "bed-head?" Your hair is gorgeous, as Betsy said above --truly it is! now you shouldsee mine. Mine truly needs help in the morning. In fact, I put Alexandra straight to work fixing the back of it. lol.

Oh, and that view is lovely too. So glad for you and the hubs there. :)

    1. Michael ~you could study the Bible for a thousand years and still find new nuggets and insights. That's why I never tire of reading or studying it. And each Bible Study takes a different slant. This study is being a Woman of God, and being a helper and counterpart to our spouse. Good stuff.
The difference now, I taught or led women's Bible Studies for 50 years....now I'm the student, and get to be a little more relaxed and enjoy the teaching of someone else. btw~ I still have not bought new watercolor supplies..thus these quick colored pencil sketches. Maybe my word should be Aaron Brothers. HaHa
