WRAPPING IT UP!

Spent the morning "wrapping things up".  I was hoping to have Jill's box on it way to Oregon last week, but when I found out I was going with my daughters and granddaughters to the Carlsbad Outlets, decided to wait and see what goodies I could find.  So glad I did as I found the perfect gifts for everyone, and with the savings, could add some special touches.

We will spend Christmas Eve with Julie's family (a Christmas Tradition) and then Christmas Day at Michel's with all the family and having fun with the exchange gifts for the name we drew at Thanksgiving.

Now that the gifts are "wrapped up" I will move on to the baking.  Love having the Christmas Music blasting while I bake.   How is your Christmas schedule coming.

    1. Hi Lady Jane...I will stretch out the baking, doing another fruitcake tomorrow, and then cookies. I haven't decided if I will make my mom's English Toffee this year...maybe, And next week for the Dessert Table at Christmas.

  3. Just finished making 46 hand made photo notecards for the relatives at the Norwegian Christmas get-together this Saturday. My hands are really tired.
Got the tree together and it's standing naked in the living room. Dave got the outside lights up and of course the absolute middle strand is out. Manana for all lighting issues. Have got to get some shopping done but don't know when. We are doing some volunteering by helping with the Volunteer food for the 15 Christmas Eve services which begin this Thursday. We're not doing them all but will help out a bit.
Steve got us tickets along with his family to see "Unbroken" in the Dinner Movie theater for Christmas night. This new theater which just opened serves food while you watch the movie. It should be a great way to finish off a wonderful day.
Happy baking Wanda. I don't think that will get done here this year. (:0(
