CLEAN HOUSE AND PUMPKIN SCONES

The house is clean from top to bottom.    Picked up a mix at Trader Joe's for Pumpkin~Cranberry scones.  With a little drizzle perfect with my coffee on this chilly morning.

Got a recipe for Butternut Squash Soup from my friend, Ann, and the big crock pot is full and simmering on low.  A pan of cornbread ready to pop in the oven.

The weather feels like fall and I'm in jeans, sweater, socks and clogs.  Put the electric blanket on the bed last night and my dearest was delighted.  I won't turn mine on until it really gets cold ~ that's why it's "duel" control.  HaHa.

How is was your Monday?

    1. I couldn't handle an electric blanket without duel. Don sleeps cold, me "hot". We are still a long way from Really COLD.

  2. I was feeling cranky this morning, but God saw fit to make sure there was no one around to crank at. ha ha! I thought I was accomplishing nothing but when I sat down to make a list, I found I had done several small tasks worth doing. Aside from checking Facebook that is...

    1. My soup wasn't as good as I wanted because it wasn't thick enough. I must use less water next time. I did follow the recipe. Bummer. Buy putting a piece of corn bread in it worked.

I made ribs and mashed potatoes with garlic and bacon and green onions and green beans....all comfort food.

AND I got my windows that face the bay all washed inside and out! xo Diana
