THE PUMPKIN PATCH

It was so fun to visit the Pumpkin Patch I enjoyed for so many years up North.  This year I was glad our trip was in October so I could visit the patch and get some pictures.

They always display old tractors and scare crows and it makes for fun picture taking.

I wanted a "White" Pumpkin to match my Fall decoration and knew they would have just the right one.  You can see I found it in my new banner.

Had a wonderful "Sister Day" with Donna.  It had been too long and we are planning a Sister Weekend next Spring.

The lunch at Applebee's was so good with a Shrimp Scampi dish and Cesar Salad with Chicken breast and bread stick....all for $7.99

We are home, unpacked, and ready to crawl into our own bed.  Praising the Lord for a wonderful trip and safe travels the whole way going and coming back.  God is good all the time, and then some!

  2. Wanda, That's a good lunch , for that price. So glad you are planning a sister get together. I have not had my sister day luncheon for a year now. I used to have 4 a year....but the sisters just don't seem to want to make an effort at times...so I backed off for now. Gee, all they had to do was come eat and talk. Thankful you and your hubby are home safe. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. I only have the one sister. And for many years we lived close enough to do things often, but now it has to be planned. We are thinking Santa Barbara and the ocean in Spring.

    1. Going to the pumpkin patch with grandkids is a great treat. Once my DIL and I got lost in a hay maze and had to have someone come and find us...what a blast.

    1. I have always loved white or teal green pumpkins. They are so original. I usually keep mine and spray it with sparkles and tie a red bow and keep it for Christmas.

Love your pumpkin patch too. Sometimes I think I should grow pumpkins in my backyard and then I remember I have a real live pumpkin patch of grandkids.

  9. I'm so glad you are home and all tucked into that Tree House.
What a trip but I know there's no place like home.
We had our weekly Wednesdate today and enjoyed the buffet, as always. Thought of you and wished you were here to enjoy it too.
We actually had rain last night and early morning. Glad for it but it did put a wrinkle in the City's plans. We were suppose to have our street Slurry Sealed today. No cars on the street and we had to park someplace else. And then the rain came and the street was too wet to put the goop down. So now we have to go through all the hoopla next week.
    Love you
    Sue

    1. Only one plant died, and Freddie the Fish was alive and doing well with the Beta 14 day vacation feeder block. I had a ton of laundry, but that's done, and the refrigerator is stocked. So sorry you have to go through the whole process again next week.
      Missing you, and loving you.
