MR. AMAZING!!

Jill just sent me a couple new pictures of Tristan.  Sept. 12th he'll be 15 months.  Walking everywhere!!  He truly is amazing.  But then aren't all grandchildren??

I had to laugh out loud when I saw this one.  I see a comedian in our future. It also made me think of the little rhyme my dad taught me when I was a little girl, and I've passed on to our kids.

"I'm sleepy, sleepy, sleepy
And I want to go to bed.
Had turkey for my dinner and 'lasses
On my bread.
My hands are sticky, sticky
My face is dirty too ~
Here comes momma with a washrag
Boo Hoo Hoo!!

A gift from above ~ grandchildren

    1. Thanks Linda. I had a lot of fun doing my Autumn Wolf.. as I like to paint loose. But I was in a Art class and had to learn to slow down and paint all those hairs one at a time..good lesson for me.

My dad was a storyteller, and I have a pocket full of his little rhymes.

  8. Grandkids are special...goop and all.
I do miss the little guys and their discoveries of life.
There is something special too about the older ones as they forge ahead and learn to make their way in the world.
Love, love, love Tristan. He is a real cutie pie.
