Beautiful work! I usually make a big batch of Apple Dumpling/Shortcake in the Fall. xo Diana
Yummmm....apple pie.Think we will definitely have to go to the Apple Hill orchards and get some fruit and apple donuts when you are here!!
beautiful 'apple' paintings Wanda, and your pie looks equally delicious!
Oh my, oh my, oh my!! That pie looks so good, Wanda!! And your paintings are simply beautiful - just like you :) Hugs!
Apples are awonderful fall fruit. I love them in pies, crisps, or just sliced. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
I like the basket of apples painting, the other one is good too. & I think the slice of apple pie could be an entry CT, too. great takes on the theme.p.s., your blog header is wonderful - very joyful colors. hope you have a grat day.
I can't decide which I like better -- the painting of the apples or the photo of the pie. Uh.. I think I'll be making apple pie this week.
Lovely...the painting AND the real slice of pie! I haven't made an apple pie yet this year...it sounds perfect for the entrance of fall!
That was a slice of Martha's pie. I'm having the last piece tonight with ice cream.
I love seeing your beautiful art!!! I haven't made an apple pie in YEARS!!!
Time to have a slice, then, go on! :)
Do you have National Apple Day, ours is on the 21st Oct. With the good summer we've had the appple crop is early this year. Lovely pie.
Both of your pictures are lovely, but the actual pie has it for me!! xx
I love BOTH ways!! xoxo ~ tanna
You really do have a special way with watercolours Wanda and your apples are no exception. Being unable to eat gluten I sadly cannot eat apple pie, but I do love apples baked with cinnamon and raisens with a big dollop of cream.
I love both pictures, but the painting that includes the pie and the apples themselves wins in my book; it's got the best of all worlds! Your watercolors are delicate and beautiful; greatly rendered and a fun, yummy interpretation of this theme :-D
both are fabulous, Wanda! So glad I clicked on your name again as I couldn't recall what you had done and didn't realise that in fact I had not seen it. Must have missed it when going through the names somehow. Anyway, these are lovely. Makes my mouth water actually. I love your fluid stlye here. You are a natural...both painter and baker it appears. May I please have a slice too. Coffee would be fine with it. :) Yumm. Awesome contributions and write up. Thanks you so much!
Wanda, I think pie and cake trump ANYTHING in life! haha :) Wonderful watercolor pieces. Love how you have such a looseness with your paints. Sigh. lol :D Keep inspiring us all with your painting and your delicious food! xx
Beautiful apples... both rendered and baked. I now have a hankering for a yummy apple crisp!
