THIS AND THAT

Coffee and devotions on the balcony in my nightgown.  Love early mornings here.
Some final touches in the kitchen.  My mother's gasoline iron, old flour sifters, and an old food grinder just out of the picture.  Add a basket and some ivy, and it add such charm to the kitchen.

 This is my "Blog Spot"

Molly new favorite thing. The balcony and watching the kids below in the playground.
Every evening, my dearest and I take Molly for her walk down the shaded street in front of our complex.  It's cool and green, and gives us a chance to walk and visit.

How was your Tuesday?

  1. I took the day off from babysitting so I could go to Ladies' Prayer and Bible Study this morning. We had lunch together at church and then went for a very long walk. It was wonderful!

    1. In Sunland, Molly's walks were mostly asphalt and a little grass and trees here and there. She's loving all the grass, as we are enjoying a walk in the cool of the evening. Found my mom's old antique looking things in the garage, and now they have found a home too. I like the touch, and a reminder of my sweet mom. (She hated that gasoline iron...sput, sput, crackle, hisssss!

    1. Susie, isn't that a cute picture. She would be down there in a minute, but some children are afraid of dogs, so she can watch from the balcony.

  7. I am so happy for you guys. Molly is so cute looking down on the children. You have a gorgeous place to walk her and to stroll and talk with the neighbors. God has blessed us both in our new homes, hasn't He? Love you.

    My Tuesday??
Bills done, mailed and delivered, went to Kaiser to get forms for DMV placard renewal, back to Kaiser because they said I took the wrong form home....I took what was handed to me. Discussion among the two ladies at the window as to what form I really am suppose to take...I am trusting they are correct and I don't have to make another trip.
Dr. wants an xray on my knee before giving me another injection and signing my DMV placard request and so the days roll on and I get the picture tomorrow and see the DR on Friday. Prayers appreciated that all will go smoothly and I get what I need.
Ate lunch at Sizzler. Both Dave and I have had the "tummy gurgles" ever since.
So, here I sit sipping seltzer and sharing my life with all of the Blogging World. (:0)
Love you and I will write a private message soon.

    1. Oh Sue...what is wrong with that DMV...can't they see you have a bum knee. Forms, forms, forms. I just hate that you had to make double trips. Praying the rest of it goes REAL quick and smooth.

Had to laugh this morning...I have my old percolater coffee pot to my grandson to take back to college. This morning my coffee pot died...So off to Target when it opens for a new coffee pot, this instant just doesn't get it for me. HaHa.

  15. Cosy indeed. Lovely, Love the tree lined stree too. now, all you need is tablet, like a nook, kindle fire or iPad or better yet, a laptop, from which to do your blogging. If only.. In fact, i don't even own a proper laptop--I use my work's one which I have with me all the time as I often log on to do stuff at odd hours!
If you had one though then you could blog and visit us all from that cosy balcony spot.
