JUST ME!

At noon the pool is completely vacated.  The children come in the afternoons, the families in the evenings, and at noon ~ it's was JUST ME!!  Today I went down, with my cover~up, beach towel, and book and took a nice swim, then basked in the sun and read my book.  I keep thinking my vacation will be over, and I'll have to leave this "Resort".  Then it hits me ~~ this is my home, my pool, my life.  I give GOD all the glory ~ it was His plan, and I'm so very thankful than it was in His plan to let us live here in our retirement years.

  1. Wow - this does look like a resort. How fortunate you both are. And to have it to yourself... are you sure you're not some kind of celebrity, Wanda? Hee hee.

    1. Have never lived anyplace like this. All our lives we were in parsonages. I loved each and every one and were too busy in ministry to have enjoyed a pool. But, now...it's very nice.

    1. Sue...funny how I sometimes feel guilty because it's so lovely, and then my kids remind me I worked hard for 40 years, raised 4 kids and was Pastor's wife to several churches. So, I really don't think we deserve anything, but God is so gracious and generous, I just thank Him and enjoy it.

    1. I don't believe I've had access to a pool, since college days when 4 of us girls rented an apartment for the summer.

  14. You have found a great retirement spot. I drive 30 minutes each way to the pool I use, so enjoy all that relaxation and swimming and reading.
