FIRST POTLUCK AT THE VILLA

Once a month at the Villa, there is a Potluck to celebrate Birthdays, Anniversaries, and any other events or holidays for that month.  We were able to enjoy or first potluck on June 30th.  The clubhouse is set up with tablecloths and decorations and looked very inviting.

Willie wears many hats at the Villa.  He the maintenance man, the BBQ'er and all around nice guy!

The table was filled with wonderful dishes of salads, fruit, veggie trays and of course Willie kept the hotdogs and hamburgers coming.  I took my signature Chicken Casserole, and it was very well accepted as I took home an empty dish.

A cake was decorated and Pat was celebrating her 77th birthday, the gentlemen next to her were celebrating a new job, and a graduation.

I finding new friends and the cookie ministry is off and running!

  1. You have found a great place to live and your cookie ministry sounds intriguing, and probably popular.

  2. What fun! How nice to honour people's various milestones like this. And a great way to get to know your new neighbours. Glad your casserole was a hit and they don't know what they're in for having the Cookie Lady in their midst!

  3. You are fitting right in, aren't you? I knew you would. You are living proof of the old saying, "Bloom where you are planted!" Or TRANSPLANTED as the case may be!

    1. I like that Linda...we are a successful "Transplant"...Since this whole move from Day 1 has been a God thing...I know he planted us just where he want us to bloom. Keeping in His Precious Word, will do the watering...and God does the Harvest.
