THURSDAY TIDBITS

Look what I found in the loft this morning!!  This dear man took down all my bins in the loft so I can sort through and see what's been lurking up there.

Funny to be going through Christmas decorations in May.  I also found some bedding I forgot I had, so it's like getting a new comforter set.

The new igniter came in the mail, and our friend Cliff came over tonight and put it in.  Yeah I have a oven again!   Guess what I'm going to do tomorrow morning??

Yes, there will be a coffee cake in the oven early and a pot of coffee brewing.  Come on over and have some, and then you can help me pack a few boxes. HaHa.

  1. A packing up party sounds good. But will you have a loft in the new place? if not what will happen to all that stuff.

    1. No loft in the new place, but an enclosed storage area on the balcony. Some of the "stuff" will be in the yard sale, some donated to the thrift store.

  4. After the first sentence I thought you were going to say you found that dear man in the loft hiding. I would trade manual labor for coffee cake.

  5. Oh, you will be so happy to have your oven back for baking again! It must be odd to be going through your decorations at this time of year, but it will all be worth it and at least it is nice and warm and dry outside so you can do sorting outdoors if you want or with the doors and windows open! xx

    1. Yes, finding my comforter set was fun. I haven't used it in years. It's like brand new. The sour cream cinnamon coffee cake is my favorite to bake. I can make the coffee strong...and I'll take the half/half, you can have yours black.

  7. Oh boy, I do wish I could come over and help pack and of course have a wee bit of that yummy coffee cake.
Glad the oven is again working. It must have been like suffering withdrawals for you to be without it.
