CREATIVE TUESDAY ~ NEW ROUND 2014

A new round for Creative Tuesday makes me very happy.  It's so easy for me to put painting of any kind on the back burner.  When Mr. Toast announced a new round I got out the paints and dusted off the brushes.

The first "word" theme is "JUMP".  Well as soon as I got my paints out this little guy jumped off my pallet and into the water~silly frog.

This little cartoon drawing was sketched in pencil, watercolor, and some highlights with black marker.

To see what all the other artists have chosen for JUMP, just jump over to the Creative Tuesday badge on my side bar and click!

    1. It's a lot of fun....and no pressure. I can be something as simple as a drawing like this one, or something very complicated. I chose simple for this first week.

  8. Dearest Wanda, you are incredibly talented! Your cute frog made me smile :) I can draw/paint a stick person, if I'm lucky! I have no drawing abilities which is sad since my grandpa is a master and was offered a job at Disney when he was a young man :) I admire people like you that can paint, draw, and create lovely pictures.

    Hugs to you, sweet lady!

    1. We all have our creative talents...mine seems to run in cooking and watercolor. But I've been on your blog enough to know you are modest in your evaluation of yourself....you are a very creative gal.

  15. Wanda,

A fun piece for sure. So you. Love that little fella. Let's call him, Splash, shall we? Then we can introduce him to Mr. Toast's Rupert and they can go off on some very Wind in teh Willows type adventure together. :)

I LOVE having you back and, btw, your comments not jsut on my blog but everyone else's are so lovely, encouraging adn thoughtful too. Thank you.

SO glad too that I can help you dust of your supplies. I'm amazed that you even find time with all your family stuff but am so humbled and utterly delighted that you do. Say hi to your hubs from me too. hope he is enjoying "retirement" as much as you..sitting around with nothing to do!! hahahha. yes, right, right. :)
