STREET FAIRS AND FARMERS MARKETS

Sunday, after church we walked through the Street Fair in Montrose and it was a beautiful day.  This tree was in full bloom.  Lots of Arts and Crafts for sale.  The band of "old timers" sent wonderful music through out the fair.

In the Farmers Market part of the fair, there were rows of fruit and vegetables.  I had just shopped so didn't need any produce, but the little loaves of squaw bread caught my attention and I brought home two loaves.

Our daughter and SIL drove in to attend church with us Sunday morning as my dearest was preaching, and she hadn't heard her dad preach for a long time.  We had a nice lunch together and it made for a perfect Sunday.

  1. How wonderful that your daughter and sil attended church with you to hear your husband preach today. That is such a gorgeous tree in bloom. You'll have to let us know how the bread tastes...it looks delicious.

    1. It was like old times, hearing Don preach and our daughter by my side listening to her dad.

That tree was beautiful, but don't have a clue what kind it is.

I'll let you know about the bread.. I'm thinking a nice "sub" sandwich.

  2. It's always so hard to remember there are places in the USA that are toasty warm and growing vegetables when we are still int he deep freeze. No blossoms here until May. I'll have to plant hat trip out west. :0)

Our daughter was thrilled, and it was really good practical message on How we Think.

  9. What a fun way to spend the Sunday afternoon with your SIL and daughter. I'm sure your husband's message for the congregation was perfect to start their week right. I love your header, Ms Wanda! It goes very well with your background... very classy and sophisticated! Enjoy the week :)

    1. Farida...it was a great day. In fact I've been thinking today about the message and how our Thinking affects everything we do.
I wanted a little romance on my header for Valentines Month. Sending hugs

  11. Nothing like a "perfect" Sunday.
Mine was busy with 2 meetings after church. Didn't get home until 5PM.
Had an amazing, thought provoking sermon from Chris Brown. He's the pastor from North Coast Church down by San Diego. If they do a replay of the message, I'll send you the link.
I would love to hear Don preach sometime. He always has such words of wisdom.
