MY WEST COAST BIRDS

The East Coast has beautiful birds.  Betsy, Linda and Martha are always sharing lovely photo's and I'm feeling quite left out.  Today I decided to share my West Coast birds.
These two little birds sit in my kitchen and are discussing how warm it is in California, and how happy they are to be here.

It's very nice when you can have your birdhouse "indoors" so I have a happy little camper here.

These two are "stoned" ~ Just can't them them to change their ways.

This little guy is consumed with time.  Stares at this clock all day long ~never tweets or sings, just sits there!

These four little birds are my Security Guards keeping an eye on my jewelry.

Thanks for letting me share California Birds.
Have a great day!

  3. This post is for the birds! (ha ha)
Your California birds are adorable. I'm thinking that maybe I should start a little bird collection. I gave two little glass cardinals away at Christmas, but I still have a little bluebird sitting on my shelf.

    1. My bird collection has sort of taken off by itself. I didn't realize how many I did have until I started walking around the house taking pictures.

  4. I love your birds!! I also learned you live in California! I didn't know that! Of course there are a lot of things I don't know!! I DO know that you and I are 'birds of a feather that flock together!!' (OR 'blog together' as the case may be!)

    1. Yes, Linda we are birds of a feather...I was born and raised in Central CA. and after high school went to Southern CA to Biola College where I met and fell in love with a young preacher. We had a church in Central CA for 27 years, but by then all the kids and grandkids were in LA area, so 6 years ago after 50 in the ministry..we retired and moved to Southern CA to be close to family. And now you know some more of my story.

  5. That's a lot of birds! And smart ones, too with the staying in the warm state and telling time and all! haha. I love the jewelry guards...that is such a pretty piece!

Are those stone toucans? Now you're just showing off because you know the midwest doesn't have any of those! hahahaha....

    1. I do love my birds, and yes my little stone birds are toucans. Found those at a thrift store years ago, and found out they were worth a lot more than I paid for them. They are special, even if they stay stoned...HaHa.

    Wish I had that.

    1. I guess I haven't been following you long enough Linda, to see your pretty white birds. I truly can't remember...will go back and check your previous posts. I like the idea of one for each of your family members. That's really a good thing.
