OH WHAT FUN ! !

Oh what fun ~ Saturday the sun was shinning, and we were watching our great grandsons, Issac and Matthew play tag football.  They are getting so big and love being "Ducks".  The parents and coaches take the game very seriously, but the kids just have fun!

They fall down, get up, Issac got tired and just sat down for a while.  Matthew got a tag, however it wasn't from the boy with the ball, but he was so excited he grabbed a tag.  But for 5 and 6 year olds it not the NFL for goodness sakes, it fun.

Needless to say it was a great time and a chance to give the boys their Christmas Presents since they won't be with us on Christmas Day.

Today, back to my LIST

Mail Robin's box
Make Chicken Casserole
Call Andy and Chris to deliver dinner at 4:30
(Hip Surgery)
The grocery store
Laundry
Wrap a few more presents
Pay a couple bills
Put empty boxes in garage
Make my Rosemary Kosher Salt gifts jars
Mail out a few more Christmas letter.

What's on your list today?

  1. Hannah and I went out today... library, post office, bank, and then the stores. :) I fear I am not a very successful shopper, but I do try. Tomorrow we'll have a houseful of small children. That should be fun!

    1. I've been enjoying some darling Children's books I've picked up at the Thrift Store. I wish my little "Ducks" lived closer so I could read to them!
I didn't have to do that much shopping year, as our clan is so big, we drew names for the adults, and most of the grand kids are now.

  2. I like your list....lots of fun stuff on there! I have one for each day until Christmas myself! Those two little ducks sure are cute! Taylor played soccer at that age and it was great fun!

I got your lovely Christmas letter over the weekend, Wanda. Thank you so much. You certainly had a wonderful 2013 and it was fun to relive all those blessings with you! ♥

    1. Everything except the Rosemary Salt got crossed off the list. I'll get that done tomorrow morning. Got a good recipe for fused rosemary salt, and olive oil. Been saying and buying cute little bottles to use.
Glad you enjoyed the letter...know most of it was on my blog during the year, but kind of nice to see it all in one place.

  3. Rosemary salt now I haven't heard of that, but I made rosemary bread the other day.

    1. The salt can be used like a rub for meat, or seasoning for anything. It's called fused, as you cook the rosemary in olive oil and chop it fine and add it to the coarse kosher salt.

  4. Your list is much shorter than mine. I have so much cleaning, baking, writing of cards, wrapping of gifts, decorating.... Christmas will be over before I'm done. If only I didn't have to spend so much time at that place they call a job.

  5. My Monday was pretty simple, work and a school board meeting. I was just an observer, but I am sure glad I don't have to go to the meeting every month. Those people are boring....following Roberts Rules of Order and stuff! I'm used to chaos and arguments.

  7. Whew, you have quite a list there!
Yeah, we are finally finished decorating and I got the bill paid yesterday. Have to go and get one last thing to put in Mark's box and then the box can be mailed for the whole family.
Must finish Christmas shopping and write some Christmas cards...they may end up being New Years cards at the rate I am going. I got your letter and so enjoyed it. Have to grocery shop too. Out of TP, coffee, cereal and milk. All the essentials....Can't believe it was a whole week ago today that we ate at Club 33. Where does the time go???
    Love you!
