SKY WATCH FRIDAY

The sky from an airplane is always interesting, but to see Mt.Hood, jetting itself through the clouds as we took off from Portland is something you don't see every day!

To see all the other skies from around the corner or around the world, just click on the SWF Badge on my sidebar.

    1. I enjoyed my short visit in your lovely state. Spent most of it in Brookings at my daughters.

  2. Love that Wanda! Ann and I had a similar view of Mt Ranier. Everything was fogged over in Seattle and we did not see it until we got above the clouds. Simply majestic.

  5. That is a spectacular sight! There is nothing that will make me feel very small quite so effectively as an airline flight, but I love looking out the window. Makes me wonder if God often sits up there and just watches us like we sometimes watch ants. (Or maybe I'm the only one who ever watches ants...)

    1. I watch ants outside busy doing what they do, but If they come in my house, I have to say I "eliminate" them. HaHa

    2. Yes, me too. We had the tiny ants in the spring. They came in after the cat food. We finally bought something to "eliminate" them.

  6. Yes that is beautiful, i've seen something like that on the plane in Europe, and because snowcaps are novelties for me, i am exeptionally awed. We don't have snow in the tropics.

    1. We live in Southern CA, but sometime we get a dusting of snow on our mountains, and I always love it, even though it doesn't last very long.
