A TRIP TO REMEMBER

A wonderful breakfast fixed by Jill's husband Jaya.  Jaya and his little buddy.  Jill and Tristan.  Love these shots of Daddy, mommy and sweet Tristan.

Guess who came to Thanksgiving dinner?  The deer came right up to the deck to see what we were having.  We celebrated Thanksgiving early so I could share it with Tristan.  We had turkey, baked sweet potato with marshmallow's, stuffin muffins, and fresh cranberry sauce.  The pumpkin pie came later.

The week went so fast.  With the temperature in the 40's it was nice to enjoy a fire in the back yard and some roasted marshmallow's.  Then back on the road to the airport, which is a beautiful ride, and then soaring above the clouds to come back home to my dearest, and all my memories and pictures.  It was indeed a great week.

  3. Can't help but think of that trip Hannah and I took to Minnesota in September. It was hard to leave that little grandson behind (and his parents too, of course), but they are coming here to visit just after Christmas. I can't wait!

Love your photos! What a nice little family.

    1. It was hard to leave. We know Jill and Jaya are coming next June for Monique's wedding...but he'll be 1 year. I don't think I can wait.

  4. I love all of the pictures. I saw your grandsons team lost their final game, but they still will go to the championship game. I know a lot of people that would like to have a 9-1 record.

    1. Yes, good record, but Kaleb broke his collar bone in practice and is in the healing process!! The one thing I hated was to see him hurt.

  6. I've been MIA for awhile, Wanda. Loved catching up this morning and oh, my goodness! how Tristan has grown. SUCH a cutie!! I am so happy you were able to spend this time with them and enjoy an early Thanksgiving.

Your color coordinated dishcloth and note cards were WONDERFUL! Indeed, they would make wonderful hostess gifts. I may have to steal your idea. ;)

Things have been very hectic and unsettled around here... I'm hoping for things to smooth out soon. Have a wonderful weekend. blessings ~ tanna

    1. Thanks so much Tanna. I was reading your blog and realize you have been in difficult times. With your knitting and painting, I would love to see your combinations. I was thinking of a beautiful watercolor peacock and that feathered stole you made. Fun to create isn't it. God must have had a blast !
