ABC WEDNESDAY ~ LETTER "O"

The Letter "O" is for OLD

Old Farm Wagon

I'm sure this one covered many many acres in it's lifetime.

Old wagon with wooden spokes and tongue.

Absolutely love this old truck.

Here's another view of the old truck.  I loved it so much I did a watercolor of it below.

  8. Love that painting, Wanda. It reminds me of taking my young brother (an artist, then aged 14) to Australia. One day in Queensland her ran up to me and said, "I need to borrow your camera."
I looked at him and replied, "You have your own camera. Did you run out of film already?"
He shook his head, "No, no, I didn't, but you have black and white film in yours and these are black and white shots."
He had found some very old vehicles in a field of high weeds, and of course he was right. The black and white shots were perfect for the subjects.
I love that artistic instinct. I have just enough of it to know what I'm missing.
