THREE LITTLE POTS

Last year I bought these three little pots at the Thrift Store, thinking I would use them for Easter.  Put them in the garage and forgot about them when Easter rolled around.  When we were in Grants Pass at Jill's MIL I saw she had cute little pots and containers with succulents, rocks, driftwood and shells.  They looked so darling.  I immediately thought of the little pots I had been saving, and determined to do something with them when I got home.

This morning I took cuttings from my succulents, and found some rocks, shells and small driftwood, and began making my little pots.

One of them sits in the Bathroom and matches the shades of blue.  The bottom left picture is one with driftwood sitting on the coffee table and the last one on the nesting table by the corner window in the living room.  They make me smile.  Now I will be on the lookout for cute little containers to make some to give away.  (Click to enlarge to see some of the details)

    1. Being gone a month, I haven't been to our local one either. But I did find a wooden napkin holder with the roller rod at a thrift store in Yreka. I'll post that later with a picture of my corn...HaHa.

  4. Great idea, Wanda and cactus or succulents need so little care if you don't have a green thumb. Welcome home.

    1. I good at "Copy Catting" I don't come up with very many original ideas, but I'm good at taking someone else idea and making it mine. Is that cheating???

  7. Very cute. I love ideas like that but am so easily distracted. I usually don't come up with much more than ideas. Well, that's what it feels like sometimes. Maybe I do actually accomplish some of them, but I'm certain I have more ideas than accomplishments.
