CREATIVE TUESDAY ~ "MOVING"

(Watercolor and Sharpie)

The theme for this week for Creative Tuesday is "MOVING".  Perhaps I've gone out on a limb, but for the life of me, when I saw the theme, I remember raising four children and the biggest MOVE was from the Potty Chair to the Big Toilet!!!  Now is that moving, or what!!

We just got home from welcoming a new grandchild into our family, a little boy named Tristan, with kids on my mind and memories of my own so vivid,  please bare with me if I've stretched this theme a little.  I do love painting children!  Hope this brought a smile of a memory of yours.

To see all the other "Moving" tales, just click on the Creative Tuesday badge on my sidebar.

    1. Hey Laurie, it's sure good to be home and getting back into my routine. It seems out of our 9 boys and three girls, the girls got it right first. (grandchildren) HaHa.

  4. That is too precious! I love it! Our youngest, Jack, is now trying to make the move, too. He is two, so we aren't pushing it too much, but he is understanding. What a wonderful gift you have to be able to do this.

    1. Thanks Nonnie ~
My three girls were easier than our son Myk. But it great to make it a fun event, instead of pushing it and tears.

  5. I love it too.
Potty training was, and still is, my least favorite job of parenting toddlers, but it's easy compared to what comes along down the road when we think things should be getting easier.
My goodness! I can even remember my own potty training days! Mom used to put my hands in the water to help me "relax". Haha!

    1. I know everyone has stories. Wasn't hands on with my grandchildren, but know some were harder than others. The worst was the hiding the poopy pants...and coming out pantless..HaHa.
