Great contribution to SWF!
Palm trees are so sturdy, despite their long, thin trunks! Nice composition. When I lived in Ireland one year as a college student, I saw palm trees growing in the southwestern corner of Ireland (County Kerry). The Gulf Stream keeps Ireland and the UK in a relatively mild climate, even though they are about the same latitude as Alaska!
Pretty shot of the sky, I love the trees. Happy Skywatching, Wanda!
Looks like a storm is on its way. Palm trees look great silhouetted against the sky.
it looks beautiful to me! wish I was there.I will have to draw up a recipe for Arnold Palmers. Is it just tea and lemonade?xo
Yes an Arnold Palmer is plain Iced tea and Lemonade over lots of ice with a sprig of mint if you want to be all fancy!
I love palm trees. We don't have too many in Oklahoma.
It's snowing here... the summer kind of snow. Cottonwood fuzz is flying. It has to be the itchiest stuff on earth!
Beautiful clouds...I love the blue sky peeking through!I wish we had palm trees. haha.
You can have my cottonwoods... :)
Beautiful... our palms so define our S CA skies!!
If So Cal were a store we could be "Palms-R-Us" Or maybe "World 'O Palms"! They are ever present in our view and that is not a bad thing at all!
Wanda, I so agree with you...when the summer storms are here in Florida....I always look out the window and say we'll at least we have our beautiful palms to still look at.
Beautiful! Reminds me of the skies at our river place:)
