LOVING OUR BACK YARD

This is my favorite time of year in our back yard.  The trees are getting their new leaves, the Rose of Sharon is bursting with blooms, and my pink geraniums are just beautiful.  The little white Pickett fence I got at the Thrift Store adds such a nice touch.

The little Bird Corner by the back fence is full of birds and squirrels every morning and late afternoon.  The Bougainvillea has finally taken off, and climbing up the trellis.  The fern has a new shade of green too.

The Succulents, Cactus Pots and Spider Plant all bursting with new life too.

The huge bare limbs and branches of the trees in the back yard are all sporting green leaves that say SHADE, SHADE, SHADE.  Time for BBQ's and Picnics. In fact, our Eat and Pray will enjoy dinner and prayer time in the backyard this evening.

What's in your backyard?

    1. I guess never living in snow, I can't imagine it. I do love this time of year. Wish all my friends in the cold could just come and spend some time in the back yard. We could have such a good time.

    1. I don't have any roses. I do love them too. I had beautiful yellow roses before we retired up North. I would love to see yours.

    1. And very soon, you can share all your colors of Spring. I'm glad I found some pink and lace wall paper to go with my new header!

  5. The trees and shrubs in ours are just moving from bud to leaf. Many of your out door plants are our indoor ones and geraniums for us are a couple of months away, as its still too cold to plant them out. But things are gradually moving. Just off this morning on our cycle trip.

    1. It was very inviting last night...got a little breezy, so we took our prayer meeting inside. Small living room, but cozy!

  8. Everyone needs a quiet, serene place in which to rest, read and meditate.
Your yard is such a place. I would love sitting there with you on your swing sipping some morning tea and enjoying the beautiful flowers and animals with you. I think your flowers are lovely. Rose of Sharon are a favorite of mine. Yours are so big and bushy!
