THE CAT'S OUT OF THE BAG!

Oh my, I've been holding my secret!  Our youngest daughter, Jill called me today, and it's time to let the news of the "Baby Bump" out of the bag.  So a new grand baby in June.  This is their first and they are going to wait and see if it's a boy or girl.

I couldn't be more excited.  Guess you know we will be taking a trip to Oregon in June!!

Since we have eight grandsons, and only three granddaughters, I kinda hope for a little girl with red hair like Jill.  When I was young I had her color of hair, and it would be fun to have another little redhead.
Boy, girl, red hair, no hair...it's gonna be a great day in our family.

Congratulations Jill and Jaya

    1. Her siblings are so excited too. We haven't had a baby for a while. The youngest grandchild is 12, so it's been a while for a grandbaby...in the meantime we did get to great grandsons.

  4. Oh, how wonderful! I love that they aren't finding out before hand. We did that with Taylor and I just loved having that surprise right at the moment he was born!

    1. I've been ready to burst, holding in the news. She's 42 and her first, and wanted to make sure everything was going to go well before she share the news with everyone. But baby and momma are doing great. We didn't have sonograms, so each of ours were a surpise!!! I like that.

    1. I guess we are all so excited because she's the baby...she went to hell and back with the car accident years ago, and we didn't think she'd ever have a child. So yes..we are blessed and I can't wait to welcome this precious little one into our family.

    3. There is a connection and bonding that happens when you have "special needs" don't you know. And that year she spent in the hospital, it was like a baby that had to start all over again. Special needs, special bond.

  10. Congrats to all. I like hearing they aren't finding out the sex of the child. I always figured it is what made labor bearable, the anticipation.

  14. Congratulations to you all! When I was pregnant with my first son, it took forever for me to get a baby bump. I thought it would never happen. And then next you know, I had gained 65 pounds. Yikes! :) Best wishes, Tammy
