FROM CHRISTMAS TO VALENTINES DAY

My Christmas Poinsettia is still looking so good, I decided to just add some of my Valentine decor and mix my pinks and reds.  It turns out to be a nice combination with my red pillows on couch and red throw.

My Valentine Angel holds a tea light and at night looks so nice with the soft red glow.  I can't believe tomorrow will be February!

OK, here is a shot of my new "Hot Roller" hair.

I'm still amazed that these brand new roller were $3.99!!

What's on your schedule today.  I'm cleaning house, preparing a devotion for our Ladies Night Out next week at Church and a visit to Elizabeth this afternoon.

  1. Your poinsettia is lovely, Wanda. Hard to believe Valentine's is not far away! Your hair is very pretty and I still am amazed at your good deal. I found a sheer curtain for our french door in the kitchen for $1.50 last week - brand new, still in the package~something I had been looking for!!!
Have a nice visit with Elizabeth.

  2. Love the hot roller hair! (And the Valentine decorating.)

I've baked a batch of Gluten Free Pumpkin Muffins and a loaf of Gluten Free Sandwich Bread. The house smells like a bakery. Mmmm! I fell off the diet wagon, but I'm planning on climbing back on again soon... It's hard to make much headway when the only exercise program is a treadmill.

    1. I'm still not back where I want to be either. I just love to eat what I bake!!

Your bakery sounds wonderful... I want to make some bread. I just got back from the Y, and Mon. and Thurs. are an hour of arobics..I'm tired...and hungry..that's a problem. On Tues. and Friday it's not so hard only 1/2 hr. of arobics, and the rest is weights, band and ball.

    1. I do like the rollers, cause after I roll my hair, I can do other things for 10 minutes or so while they work.

  5. Love your Valentine mixture with the poinsietta.
I still have my red candles from Christmas up. I figure I might as well keep them through Feb. now.
the rollers really make a nice soft curl too.
What are the plans for today?
I had lots of email catching up to do and letters to send out. That took a long time.
Dave and I are going to a couple's home for dinner tonight. They are new friends we met through our Small Group Bible Study. They want to help us celebrate our Anniversary and get to know each other. That is so very special.
Wish we had a Y near us so I could get back to exercise again.
Have a great day Dear Friend.

    1. I'm glad our red Christmas candles work for February. I've got to get out in the garage soon, and look for my Spring and Easter decorations...they are somewhere. To be as organized as I am inside..the Garage is still a mess (Don's fault) HaHa.

I know you're going to have a great time with your new friends.

    1. Thanks Nonnie...I'm very fortunate to had a big head of hair, since I like "Poof" haha.

Yes, I will share that and the little "hand-out" I making to go with it. I'm such a visual learner, whenever I speak, or teach, I have to have visuals to help me.

  7. I just spent 7 hours cleaning and barely made a dent. I do not like cleaning for that very reason. Such a waste of time. A friend gave me a poinsettia when she returned to the States in December and it was so nice and pretty and red when she gave it to me, but now it is falling to pieces. I swear -- she has the greenest thumb. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Amazing that you got those hot rollers for so cheap. Nice hair! :) Best wishes, Tammy
