SHADOWS IN THE MORNING SUN

This was the interesting shadow I had on my living room wall this morning.  I have a small bird house hanging from a hook on the front porch.

Our front door has a port hole window and that's how I got the bird house on my wall.  I sat with a cup of coffee and just enjoyed the view for a while.  Shadows have always fascinated me.

Back to the kitchen, the fruit cake turned out very nicely, and these larger loaves are ready to wrap and freeze.  I did have a slice from one of the small ones with my coffee and I'm totally satisfied with the outcome.

After taking out 10 little loaves of Banana Chocolate Chip Bread from the oven, I told my dearest as the apron came off...."I'm giving myself an early Christmas present. I'm off to get a pedicure and some pretty red Christmas toes."  Merry Christmas, Wanda!!

    1. Rose, You do need to take some pictures of your shadows. As I was telling Mildred...I love patterns through the lace curtains in the kitchen. They dance...when the fans on. I love that.

  3. Very cool shadows! I love to notice little things like that! Maybe that's why I love the moon phases so much...it's really just our shadow on it! :)

Your breads are gorgeous! Wow! Love the pretty walnuts and fruit on top. Looks like buttons down Santa's coat!

I have a pedicure gift certificate that I need to use...red toes in December...what a great idea! I may have to do that, too!

    1. GIVE IT AWAY...Chris... I will make Christmas Baskets with homemade goodies for family, friends and neighbors. I take cookies or breads on Sunday Morning to Church for the Snack Table, and I do eat my share, but "very small pieces"....and I work out 4 days a week.
