HAPPY NOVEMBER

Welcome a new month, a clean calendar...Oh wait a minute. It's already filled with my November To Do List.

It's OK, because I love this time of year, and now I can focus my attention on preparation for Thanksgiving, and begin some Christmas shopping.

With all the rush of the next two months, my goal is to "carve" (no pun intended, ha ha) out some time for devotions, giving thanks and sharing the good life we have with family and friends.  Truly a time to Count Your Blessings...Name them One by One....

So blessings my friends.  You are a valuable part of my day!

BTW ~ October was so busy, I didn't respond to your comments..I plan to get back to that this month.  So expect a response to your comment!!

  2. November already, wow. Time to think of Christmas gifts for relatives that I mail packages to. For Thanksgiving we will have lamb shanks with the recipe on my blog today.

    1. Oh Terra...me too. Now that our youngest daughter has moved to OR, I send goodies boxes all year. But Christmas will be special.

      Will check out your recipe.

  3. I think that I would like November if I lived by you Wanda. Too cold (and getting colder) here for me. We are planning to head south for a month this winter to escape the cold. :)

    1. Bob, it's been a little crazy here. Mornings I'm in my sweater and boots...by afternoon, I'm in short sleeves and sandals. As a result, got a runny nose! But I am thankful I don't live in YOUR zone.

A trip south is a good plan. How about Southern CA???

    1. Tanna, friends are special blessings, and I'll say ditto to you being one of my blessing. I was thinking this morning just how many dear friends I wouldn't have if I had never started blogging.

You are on my 1000 list!

  6. I just love the Holidays too.
They will be busy but fun.
We may even throw in a mini vacation to ease the days along.
Our Thanksgiving will be small this year since Steve and family are going on a much deserved vacation. We just may bundle the holidays together to celebrate.
With 18 "Christmas Eve" concerts/programs there won't be a lot of extra down time before Christmas. Dave and I will be helping with dinner for the mass of volunteers it takes to put on the program night after night and usually 2 times most nights. That's lots of slicing and dicing!
But you know, I wouldn't have it any other way.

    1. Sue ~ I so wish I lived close enough to slice and dice with you. That would be right up my ally.

Will look forward to keeping in touch over the next two holiday months.
