EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK

I make cookies all the time.  Several times a week, and it's either chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin.

This morning I was going to make oatmeal and just got the idea that I'd add several different things.  So it's your basic oatmeal cookie recipe, and I added chocolate chips, walnuts, dates, and a cup of granola.

They turned out delicious.  Crunchy, with the walnuts and granola, sweet with the chocolate chips and dates.  I gave two bags away, but made sure I kept a few for us.

Got Milk?

  5. I do love baking! Oatmeal cookies can be jazzed up in so many ways. I know everyone at school enjoys all my baked goods. As I headed out yesterday, I dropped off the rest of the banana muffins and oatmeal raisin cookies to the security guards. I gave them brownies a few days earlier and they ate them in no time at all. Don't think anyone ever things to do anything special for them. Hope you are having a good week. Tammy

  7. You would make my Hubby Dave so happy to have cookies every week. He is a big cookie fan. they are just too much temptation to have around...
Those look scrumptious only without the nuts which Dave can't eat. Love the name CowGirl cookies.
