PULLED CHICKEN??

Most of us have had barbecued pulled pork.  Well last week I had a couple of chicken breasts so decided to cook them in the my "little" crock pot with some BBQ sauce.  It cooked all day and became so tender it just "pulled apart".  It was delicious!

Because we are going to Kaleb's football game tomorrow night, I decided to use my "big" crock pot and make enough to take down for dinner and have "BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches.

I think I'll take both sandwich rolls and crescent rolls for a choice.

I also found a recipe for a "Lazy Girl Cobbler" and will make a Peach Cobbler tomorrow morning to take for dessert.

Aren't Crock Pots the Best and quick and easy recipes?

  1. That sounds really good. I love using my crock pot! We have a lake trip this weekend and wish I had thought about that for the menu. We will just grill the chicken.

  3. And here's me trying to decide what to have for dinner! Too late for the crock pot and tomorrow we are going to a church dinner, so your idea will be put on hold until Saturday. I put a new Flamborough photo for my blog photo today. I like it better than the one I had before.

    1. The cobbler is 2 cans of peach pie filling, 1 yellow cake mix and 2 cubes of butter...how simple is that. Will see how it turns out. If good, I'll post a picture and recipe.

  6. This looks really delicious! My mom also was gifted with a crack pot but somehow never used it. I love chicken however, there are times when my lips react to it. Hope you enjoy the game and have a great weekend! :D
