NIGHT BLOOMER

Our neighbor has a beautiful Cactus that has decided to put a couple of it's arms over to my side the the fence in the back yard.

Tonight I got a call from her, saying check my back yard because she thought I had a "Night Bloomer".  She had several on her side of the fence.

Sure enough, we went out with the camera and a flash light and this is what we found.  They only last a few hours...So glad she called!

Isn't it beautiful!

    1. She's a great neighbor, and lots of fun. They have 7 house cats, and she had so many different plants in her yard and knows so much about each of them. She had a Meyer Lemon tree, so she gives me lemons and I give her cookies...good trade.

  4. How wonderful...a secret little surprise for those out at night. I'm glad you didn't miss it! And how fun for it to come to your side of the fence and say hello! Tell that cactus that the grass is always greener...lol...

    1. Betsy, this morning in the daylight, I have three more surprises..One large bud behind the one in the picture about to open, and 2 small buds on another arm. How bless can I be. Yes the cactus seems to like our grass a lot! HaHa
