COMMON GROUND ~

If you like coffee as much as I do, we are on  "COMMON GROUND" !  My SIL drives for Peet's Coffee and he gave me several bags of coffee beans.  A mild/medium bean that is perfect for my taste in coffee.

Since I usually buy ground coffee, I had given my little grinder away some time ago.  But today looking at those bags of beans, I just wanted to have a freshly ground cup of coffee, so picked up a nice little grinder at the Super Market.

You should smell my kitchen...after grinding enough for my little Rooster Canister the aroma is heavenly.

Do you have a special mug or cup that is your favorite for coffee?

Mine is a pottery cup I found at the Thrift Store last year.  I love the ocean, and this is a simple blue cup, with the ocean at the bottom and a few sea gulls flying by.  Coffee just tastes so good in this cup.  If you will excuse me, I'm going to go have a cup, and maybe a peanut butter cookie.

Thanks for stopping by, now be sure to tell me if you have a favorite cup!

  2. I just love the smell of fresh ground coffee.
I really don't have a favorite cup but I really don't like drinking coffee or tea from a dark inside cup. It doesn't do the brew justice and makes me think the coffee is weak.

    1. I don't like dark cups on the inside either. But I don't like strong coffee.. I like rich coffee, and of course I love my half/half.

    1. Funny, how a mug can become so personal. Mine sure is. When we vacationed in Tahoe this year, I took my mug, even though the kitchen in the cabin has a shelf full.

    1. Judy, I took the picture of the daisies at our Descanco Gardens that I visit often to relax and read. Daisies are my favorite, so it was perfect for my header.

My husband teases me an says I like a little coffee in my cream. I do love half/half in my coffee.

  9. Yes I do have a favorite cup and you will find it full of almost anything but coffee. I believe coffee is an acquired taste. And to paraphrase a popular HGTV show I never learned to love it so I left it.

Thanks for stopping by my farmers market this week.
